Category Description:
Cincinnati Chemical is located in Batavia. The prototype spur is on the west end of town. The spur sits well below the main as the main starts the climb up Batavia Hill. I don't believe I've ever seen a car spotted on this track, and have no idea the last time it was used. I suspect it has been more than fifty years since the brakes of a car were set here.

That will not be the case on the Peavine Division. With a name like Cincinanti Chemical, it is begging for tank car service. This will be a lightly switched industry for the Sardinia Turn, and will present a unique challenge with the train still on the downhill side of the Batavia grade.

I’m going to use the Rix Product Milton A Corporation to represent Cincinnati Chemical. The kit features a tower similar to that seen on the prototype. Where the kit is designed to be built at a ninety degree angle, I think I can recreate the look of Cincinnati Chemial by running the buildings in a stright line.

I haven't built the kit yet… but expect to soon.
