The prototype spur is on the west end of town. The spur sits well below the main as the main starts the climb up Batavia Hill. I don't believe I've ever seen a car spotted on this track, and have no idea the last time it was used. I suspect it has been more than fifty years since the brakes of a car were set here. That will not be the case on the Peavine Division. With a name like Cincinanti Chemical, it is begging for tank car service. This will be a lightly switched industry for the Sardinia Turn, and will present a unique challenge with the train still on the downhill side of the Batavia grade. I’m going to use the Rix Product Milton A Corporation to represent Cincinnati Chemical. The kit features a tower similar to that seen on the prototype. Where the kit is designed to be built at a ninety degree angle, I think I can recreate the look of Cincinnati Chemial by running the buildings in a stright line.
